Jump is an interactive programme for staff and students at the University of Strathclyde which rewards you for behaviours that improve individual and University wide sustainability and wellbeing.

You'll compete as part of a team to earn Green Points for your actions. There are a whole range of actions that you can earn points for under a number of different themes:

  • Engagement
  • Wellbeing
  • Energy
  • Travel
  • Resources
  • Lifestyle

Each activity has a full description of what you'll need to do to earn Green Points - some will require a submission that you can make through the website, whilst others will invite you to report on weekly basis.

1. Get the app

As well as the interactive web platform, there's also a free Jump app for iOS and Android! Search 'Strathclyde; Jump' in your device's app store or click the links below and get rewarded on the go.

2. Take part in activities

You can take part in a whole range of activities to earn Green Points for yourself and your team. We've grouped these activities into themes, all of which you can get involved in at any time.

Click here to check out each of the activities - for some you'll need to submit some information or a photo whilst for others you'll be sent a weekly reminder to let us know what you've done.

3. Check the leader board

The leader board on the homepage shows how you're performing compared to your colleagues and other teams.

4. Win prizes

There are loads of prizes available for individuals taking part in Jump as well as a top prize for the winning team in December and again in May.

You'll get the chance to win:

  • One of ten prizes for the top performing individuals issued every month (or one of eight in the final month of May) from a choice of a £10 M&S voucher, £10 EcoVibe eVoucher, a personal consultation and training session at the Centre for Sports & Recreation or a Locavore veg box delivery.

  • One prize each month awarded as part of a raffle (or one of two in the final month of May), to be entered into the raffle you need to log at least one action in the given month. You can choose from a choice of prizes listed on the homepage including M&S and Cineworld.

  • £250 for the top team to use to benefit their favourite local charity

Don't worry if you've only just joined or haven't taken part in a while - as soon as you get stuck in, you're in with a chance to win!

5. Encourage your colleagues and fellow students to get involved

You can encourage your colleagues to get involved (and earn Green Points for yourself) by heading to our Refer a Friend tool - all you need is your colleague's email address to send them an invite.

Please note: only people inside your organisation can get involved.
